St George’s

St George's Chapel was built in the 1950s as an outreach to the other end of the parish from Emmanuel Church.  Because of the utilitarian aspect of the building, it was not designed specifically as a church, it has built up quite a number of community groups that use it on a regular basis, as well as providing a very useful meeting area for the uniformed groups that meet in the parish. 

St George's has now become the main place of worship in the parish and we hold all of our morning services at this site.
