Emmanuel

Emmanuel Church BuildingWe are an anglican parish that meet for regular worship on Sundays at 6:30pm at Emmanuel Church on Chestnut Street (all other services are available at St George's).

Our normal pattern of worship is BCP communion at 8am at St George's, Morning prayer from Common Worship at 10am on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month, with a Parade service on the second Sunday and a Common Worship Communion on the fourth Sunday, while the evening service at Emmanuel Church is a healing with communion on the first Sunday of the month, and evening prayer thereafter.

At present we are in the process of reordering the parish, and main services have been suspended at Emmanuel, with St George's being our main centre for morning worship.  We do continue to hold the smaller, spoken service at 6:30pm in the vestry of Emmanuel
